I had no issues with Telus until I moved to a new apartment. The tech guy who installed my equipment told me that one of the two cables was broken and I was getting really slow speeds and he would be back to fix it in a couple of days, but he lost. I spent about 20 hours online trying to fix it. I got another appointment and the new guy said it was not fixable. I called Telus asking them to fix it or cancel my plan because the speed was incredibly slow and I work remotely, which is very important to me. They said I had to pay a year's cancellation fee up front. I honestly don't understand if Telus can't give me at least half the minimum speed they advertise that I have to pay to cancel.
