I'm so annoyed that Telus are an internet provider but don't offer online solutions. I have to wait an hour to speak to a customer service person to then wait another 30 mins to speak to a 'specialist service'. People have jobs and lives and it's so unreasonable to expect us to jump through hoops to have our issues resolved. This is the second time I've had an issue with my account and as a result I want to cancel with Telus. My housemate signed up for an account online at the same address but they advised me I need to have my housemate call (and thus wait on the phone for an hour an a half) to have the equipment transferred over to them otherwise I need to return it. Seeing as a Telus technician is going to the house anyway to install new equipment anyway I suggested they could take the old equipment with them but apparently "this is too logical, and therefore can't be the process". It just feels like Telus puts barriers up all the time to people being able to get things done smoothly when most of us work full-time and don't need the added stress and frustration of an inefficient internet provider.
