We ordered Telus on Oct 10th It was to be installed on the 15th…. Waited, waited but No show.
When I called they said nope we didn’t have an order, But we have an email from you… blah blah they will be there the 18th
We got it installed (nice fellow) on the 18th with the wrong landline number and never did get the correct phone number back, however we have moved on from that, as we have already had to change it with a lot of people. Telus placed the order again, we received an email stating our order comes with a Free Samsung 4K Smart TV FREE. The installer told us he couldn’t carry it (fairly small truck) but that Telus would be sending it if that’s the contract. After a few weeks I called and was told it could be about another 4 to 5 weeks as it is a gift, fair enough.
I chatted online with an agent again Dec 15th and she said that the Free TV did not come with this deal. We explained we had the order contract email from Telus stating it comes with a gift of a TV. However, she said she would call me within the hour to sort this out, she did not.
Dec 16th. Spent a lot more time chatting online getting nowhere. After a long wait of dreadful music Spoke to an agent who then played us more horrid music. The 2nd phone was answered by I believe Jadin a ‘specialist’ he stated that was not the way it worked. He said we could have the television but our monthly charges would be much higher. We said but we have a order contract from you. Yes he said but that’s not how it works. By this time my husband came on the line. In all we were put on hold for over 2 hours and then were HUNG UP ON!!! while still on hold at 4:06p.m. Dec 16th.
We are beyond frustrated. Still want our TV ‘gift’ and the same 24 month contract. We think they are making it this hard so we will give up. We aren’t. In fact we are about to email Anne Drewa Global New Consumer Matters and BBB. We will let you know how it goes
