Bill Payment Not Received

Getting frustrated more & more with TELUS. Paid my Home Services Security bill online. After hitting the submit button, I got some kind of message, where I usually get a confirmation number, saying that sorry, we couldn't process your payment but don't worry because we haven't charged you. Please try again. I was just about to put it through again when I decided to check my credit card account and see that there is a pending transaction for the charge. What gives? I can see this turning into a nightmare.

You'd likely need to contact TELUS' billing department, but perhaps an authorization was made but then something happened that the payment didn't complete.  If so, at some point, that authorization would expire on your credit card.
