After being provided inaccurate information about the Telus Bring it Back plan, Telus filed missed payments and amounts past due to the credit bureau. My credit score has dropped significantly as a result.
After over 15 cumulative hours spent on the phone with various Telus departments (all out of country call centers) I was able to get late payment charges refunded and I was told that a credit bureau amendment would be submitted to update the unmerited, derogatory missed payment and amount overdue Telus reported to TransUnion.
I was initially told the credit amendment would take 24 to 72 hours, then I was told it would take a week as it had to be submitted for approval to some back office with no public contact, then I was told that it would take up to 21 days. My credit report has STILL not been amended!!!!!
I was also told I would receive a call with an update and have not received any information since.
This is absolutely unacceptable. I have been paying Telus hard earned money for decades! The treatment I have received trying to sort this out is horrible. Telus needs to be held to account for this type of harm as it has real consequences for their customers.
I would like to know exactly how to file a complaint. This is very serious and I'm not about to let it go, for the sake of my family and for the sake of others that will experience similar damage by corporate incompetence.
