I submitted a transfer for my number to Telus about 3 hours ago. I can see my service is canceled with my previous provider now, but I don't have service on my device yet. How long should this typically take?

The process itself is quick but it can take a few hours to flow depending on volumes. If there is an issue with the info we've gathered from you that is required by the outgoing provider, than can also affect the porting process. Any updates with this port request?
