Just Moved In


I am looking to add a family discount and a line to my existing account. But I wanted to add my husband who already has a separate telus mobility account. Can I add the line then link his existing account and phone number? How do we go about linking the two?

Hey @BreDun, the family discount will involve a few extra steps. First, your husband's account will need to be added as a subscriber to your account (or vice versa). If you're able to coordinate, give our customer care team a call while you're both available to speak so that he can authorize a transfer of ownership to your account and you can similarly ask for that account to be transferred to you. Once you have 2 or more subscriber lines on the account, you're eligible for the family discount.

One thing to note - both of you must have any combination of the following plans: Simple Share (TSS), Peace of Mind (PoM), Peace of Mind Connect (PoMC), Unlimited and/or any plan that has the family discount eligibility build in.
