Europe 30 day Easy Roam Pass

If I purchase a 30 day Europe Easy Roam Pass can I make call from Canada to Greece or Greece to Canada without incurring roaming charges?  Without incurring Long Distance charges?   Thanks

Great question! If you purchase a 30-day Europe Easy Roam Pass, here's how it works:

• Calling from Greece to Canada or within Europe:
  These calls are covered by the Easy Roam pass, so you won’t incur additional roaming or long-distance charges. It’s all included in your Easy Roam daily rate.
• Calling from Canada to Greece:
  This type of call would not be covered under the Easy Roam pass, as Easy Roam is designed to cover usage while you’re abroad. Calls from Canada to Greece would be charged as long-distance calls unless you have an international calling add-on.

This does not match what is on the website or the information I received yesterday when I called Telus

The website and the Telus agent I spoke to indicated the 30 day pass for $60 uses my home plan and that calls to Greece from Canada or from Greece to Canada will not incur roaming or long distance.

Travel passes are designed for use while traveling outside of Canada, so they don't apply while you're within the country. If you need to make international calls from Canada, you can add long-distance bundles. Details on these bundles can be found here: https://www.telus.com/en/mobility/add-ons/long-distance

I was told that by a Telus agent yesterday that if I get the pass and I call Canada from Greece I will not incur roaming or LD charges and that if someone in Canada calls my cell phone while I am in Greece I will not incur roaming or LD charges.

Please note that your initial response refers to an Easy Roam Daily Rate.  I am not referring to the daily Easy Roam - I am referring to the Europe 30 Day Easy Roam Pass for $60 - there is no daily rate.

Yes, while you are in Greece, you will not be charged while on the Easy Roam Pass.
