A few months ago i called telus and went through the process of unlocking my phone. I am finally trying to use another SIM outside Canada and it says it’s invalid. Did telus not properly unlock it and if so how do I reach telus if i’m on airplane mode to fix this? Their 416 # doesn’t work on whatsapp.
Is it an iPhone? If so, that message can appear sometimes when the device needs to be updated, which you can update over WiFi first, then reboot the device with the SIM in and see if that message goes away.
