I no longer get notifications of voicemails

I have a Galaxy S3 and last week it stopped placing notification icons on the status bar when I recieve a voicemail. I have pulled the battery checked evry setting I can think of but can not seem to correct the issue. Has anyone else ran into this, the phone is 1 year old and has worked great up until last week.

Have you tried taking the SIM out and back in and get it to reload the network settings?

If that fails, maybe time to give the good guys at TELUS technical service a call?
