I've been looking around on Telus' various mobility pages and can no longer find any current information on the update schedule for Android phones. They used to maintain a schedule with at least which quarter the next update is planned but the most recent one I've been able to find is from 2015.
It would be nice to have at least a ballpark idea of when, or even if, current models will receive updates. Considering current flagship models like the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge haven't even received so much as a security update since November 2017, one can reasonably start to feel some concern that maintaining secure devices is not a concern for Telus. Let alone keeping up to date with the current Android version.
I understand there are delays that may be out of Telus' control but all I've seen online is little more than conjecture on the part of users and nothing at all of substance from Telus themselves.
Throw us a bone here.

Although dated 2015, when it was originally published, the Article has been updated regularly, as indicated by its position in the Articles ranking, and the February update. While it should indicate current status, or even a 'no current release info' notation, I would not agree it has been abandoned, just not current. It is also possible, however unlikely, that there is currently nothing in the pipeline!

It was updated a month or less ago. Hardly 2015.
