I'm previous from Filo and recently switched to Telus but still with the original Filo number.
After plug in the sim card from Telus, I could not get messages anymore and it also failed to update my number from the iphone.
It is saying "MMS messaging requires You phone number", while, it is not able to save the phone number from Setting.
Could you please unblock?

Did you update the APN settings on your phone? If you haven't, that can affect data related services like MMS.

I've got the same issue. This is with a Brand new Google pixel 9.
I was with Fido for the last two years, just switched to Telus during black Friday EPP deals on Nov 30th/2024.
I'm not getting some texts from contacts and friends with Rogers on iPhones .
My case has been escalated and I've got a ticket number.
I've tried all the trouble shooting recommendations from tech support including:
Updating google messages, turning off RSC for 48hrs, resetting network settings, rebooting phone.
I'm able to send and my friends receive my texts but I'm not receiving from them. We are both able to send pictures back and forth no problem. If my contacts send a picture with text attached it send to work but a stand alone text dues not.
Today is Monday December 9th/2024.
So 8 days is this garbage and sum no resolution.
I wonder what's wrong and whether or not I should cancel everything..... including my home Internet with Telus. Is it the new phone or the network or is Rogers performing some kind of corporate games to make texting difficult for Telus customers.
FYI my new phone is using an Esim.
My previous phone that I was using with Fido was also android but it was a Motorola edge plus from 2021 I think?

Hey @Freddyflinstone - Have you tried disabling RCS on your previous device? It sounds like an issue with the RCS service itself
