I have a Canada USA Mexico plan 

Iam in puerto Vallarta Mexico

iPhone says no service

have roaming on 

have restarted my phone same message

any help would be appreciated

Same issue for me,

yet my wife does not have the Canada/USA/Mexico plan and is able to pay the 15$ daily and she has full reception.  same phone model, were both with telus. 

I am sure glad i am paying a premium for my plan....

@Garygary You may need to manually select a network if your phone doesn't automatically connect to one. Tap on Settings > Cellular > Network Selection > disable "Automatic" which will trigger a manual search for networks. Once a list has populated, tap on networks one at a time until you find one that works.

Remember to reverse the steps when you return home.

Following this.  Same problem. I can see the other networks but my phone won’t connect to any of them. My partner has the same plan as me and his phone automatically connected no problem.

I'm not sure if you're still there but try toggling Airplane mode off, then back on.

I was personally down in Mexico for the holidays (different state) and found that if you connect to Telcel or AT&T you'd have actual service. There were a few carriers with just numbers on them and they had bad reception.

 

If you can, can you post a screenshot of the carrier selection that you have?
