Is it possible to have two modems - one upstairs and one downstairs on the same account at the same residence? Would you need to rent the second modem and obviously an install charge?
I suspect this may be possible. Certainly not the norm. What are you hoping to accomplish with a second modem?
I am with Fuzzy, why? you can have one Modem and as many networks as you want downstream with routers to keep separations
