Port Forwarding on Telus Wi-Fi 6 Booster

I am a new subscriber to Telus.  I would like to set up port forwarding for my NAS.  Can I do so on the Telus Wi-Fi 6 Router/Booster?  The Model shown in the bottom is B21A (HW ver.: R02).  Many thanks.

The Booster is not the router. It is simply a wifi extender. The router is actually the Network Access Hub (also called the Optical Network Terminal - ONT), the white box at the point where you fiber comes in and signals are converted to copper (ethernet). Routers join two networks, in this case the WAN (internet) and your LAN (internal network).

That being said I have looked in the web configuration of the Booster and NAH and cannot see where port forwarding can be configured, unless someone else knows.

Hi JStars, with much effort, I was able to open the cover of the Network Access HUB (the white box), and login to NAH (192.168.1.254) using the admin password labelled inside.  I was able to set up port forwarding rules under Network -> Firewall -> Port Forwarding.

Your reply has been very helpful.  Much appreciated.

That’s really good to hear! I hope that this post will help others.

Cheers,
