I was recently contacted by a fellow with a heavy east Indian accent that claimed to be a Telus promotional rep. The call came from, as indicated on the phone, TELUS 888-811-2323. He offered discounted home billing and cel phone service, a new modem and WIFI booster to be delivered to my doorstep within 4 to 5 days if I gave him some info. He accessed my Telus points and cashed them all in on a Esso $100.00, a Starbuck $100.00, a $100.00 Hotel voucher and a $50.00 Uber eat voucher. I don't use any except maybe the $100.00 Esso card. Can they be reversed? I also like a dummy gave him my credit card info for the $10.00 initiation charge which was to be refunded in 48 hours. Instead a charge of $105.00 showed up. I have contacted my bank to stop payment. Since then I've received a message on my cel phone saying delivery of the wifi and modem is delayed unless I message them back. I decline to do so. Any thing else I should do?

Hey, Greg. We always ask our customers to be careful with any offers they receive, and to check with us directly to verify the authenticity of said offers. Call Spoofing is also a very real concern, with fraudulent callers making their outbound call display show up as our authentic numbers. Unfortunately Rewards points are unrecoverable. We'll reply to your private message as well, thanks.
