Sooooo I get a call to see if I am interested in switching my service to Telus, as my bill crept up with Shaw for apparently "device rental increases" , I considered but had a contract not yet completed with shaw....no problem they say...we will credit your account with us ( telus) first fibre internet customer in my neighbourhood....apparently great service to start..... telling me all I want to hear...a few missed appointments and one of those was fibre not yet hooked up to the actual house ( dropped), is what they called it....no problem credits for both , yay me lol.....so finally get it hooked up all good ....credits not appearing on my account so I call....promised to fix...nope .... they will handle everything ....they will call Shaw and say see ya later suckers lol NOPE didn't call as I got a new bill ...now paying for both....no problem they say (telus) we will credit you for that as will ok Im up to $240 in credits.....deal for EVERYONE at Christmas and black friday is $70 .... welllll I was offered $60, yay me AGAIN lol, cool I say, sign me up ...... with $5 loyalty discount for Telus/kuddo and another $5 discount to auto payment Im down to $50 yes agent confirms over and over like 3 times..... well we are happy to have "stolen you" from shaw lol Im assured its legit .....NOPE. With all the credits for switching and failing to cancel and missed appointments I will not have a bill for nearly 5 months ...... but then 2nd full month in, I get an email that my telus bill is due ??? $84 ....must be a mistake ???? NOPE for real, credits all gone, my rate plan ad of November is $120 ???? I had TV ( middle of the road pkg) and great internet from shaw for $137.....WHY WOULD I DOWNGRADE AND LOSE TV FOR $17 difference ???? FULL on SCAM, LIE and BULL FROM TELUS...the agent deliberately lied told me all I wanted to hear and now I'm told I will have to pay a huge cancellation fee as I've had service for over 30 days??? I THINK NOT....Lawyer told me this is becoming common and he will fix if they don't....also I am contacting the CRDC if they can't go back through the notes each agent made, Jennifer, John and several others I spoke to over the last 2 months correcting credits. Last customer escalation agent told me the $60 was only a 6 month introductory offer ??? Not one agent EVER said that, I asked specifically how long my deal was good for ....2 years. not impressed they will lose my internet $ my satellite $ and all 4 cell phones to the competition !!! over $4000 a year I pay telus to get JERKED AROUND !!! Anyone else dealing with the lied to get you on contract ?

Telus, as a company, does not care about Customers other than as those inconvenient things that prevent them from direct acess to yours and my wallets or purses. The offshore telus rep gets bonus points and bucks for upselling you. As long as costs are down and profit is up Telus is happy and will fire those disgruntled customers back into their Denial of Servicex
