ICMPv6 RA: ndisc_router_discovery() failed to add default route.

I see another thread on this topic, but just checking to see if the solution in that one (bad copper connection at the street) applies across the board: https://forum.telus.com/t5/Internet-Home-Phone/Internet-Dropping-Out-Daily/m-p/115403.

Telus has said no issues with my line.

I have all but one or two of my devices connected to a modem behind the T3200M. I've been having problems with one of my devices losing its internet connection, so I decided to connect it directly to the Telus modem/router. I'm still having problems.

I factory reset the Telus modem/router to see if it would clear up the following errors.

Just curious, are they anything to be worried about or can I ignore them?  Could they be causing a device to drop its connection?

I got the same issue as you. My connection keeps dropping out during the day. I also asked to replace the modem/router but I didn't help at all. I wasted my time to call them customer service many times since it didn't work.

Same issue for me. They just replaced my router but I'm seeing this same message every 20-30 minutes
Kernel event ICMPv6 RA: ndisc_router_discovery() failed to add default route

and devices (both wired and wfi connected) are dropping internet just as regularly. When the tech first came last week he said they checked the cabling from the street but all I'm seeing with this error is the copper issue. Any thoughts Telus?

Just remove the gateway fe80::1

or

Disable IPv6 WAN Settings and IPv6 LAN Settings (in Advanced Setup)

Telus should have addressed this a long time ago...
