Hi,
This may be a silly question, but I'd like to confirm. I've had a landline for a long time and I'm thinking of giving it up. I think at one point it may have been necessary to have a landline to have Telus internet. Maybe this was back in the A/DSL days (or maybe I was misinformed). Now I'm on fibre. Do I need a landline in anyway to support home internet or could I ditch the landline if I choose?
Thank you 🙂

You should be able to ditch your landline. We switched our phone service to VOIP Ooma a few years ago. We just connect the Ooma box to a ethernet connection on the modem. They do have a wireless Ooma box as well. We get Optik TV and internet from Telus but no landline.
