Renew after two year ends

  • Great news. Telus loyalty called and resolved the issue to my total satisfaction. It was a head scratcher for sure why the previous support ended with nothing but an alteration to my existing contract. 

    For those keeping track, I now have a new two year contract for less than the past two years. Nothing special, it is available for all that ask. They are looking for loyal customers and letting the others pay more.

    Kudos to Thomas from Guatemala , I was supposed to get a survey to rate the call, but did not get one.

    I did not write undefined twice, but also could not post soon after joining.

    I went online to my account to renew as my two year contract was coming due. The website does not work, many times I chose the bundle I currently have and clicked "add to cart" expecting something next. Instead it lept looping back to the Overview page.

    So I contacted support and got a scheduled call back. Customer support rep, his supervisor could not sort it out, forwarded to Tech support who also could not figure it out bt forwarded to Customer Care. So after 2 plus hours I am talking to a nice man from Guatemala who knows what I want, we agree on it verbally and I get a reference number.

    Hours later I get four emails with similar updated contracts, none of which is for a two year extension, but rather a butcher job of the balance of my current term.

    The emails all included a click here if there is a problem, so I did, with full explanation, and now I await a reply.

    Along the way (I took of screenshot) the 500GB internet was offered at $70 per month, $5 less than the 250GB. However none of the three departments could find the promo offer.

    Instead of the posted rate of $85 for 500GB I am shown $90 on these contracts which end before my current contract expiry.

    BTW, the on hold music was unbearable for customer support and tech support but was acceptable with customer care. Will post updates.

        I waited until 5pm yesterday for a reply from Telus on the app messages. Nothing heard as of now, so I went into the app again yesterday and arranged a schedule call about 4pm today. 

        If only the website My Telus would work properly I would be able to self serve. Imagine, I have a problem renewing my service, one would think that should be welcomed by Telus.
