Does the Telus Digital Box work with ARC or eARC?

After a lot of searching, I found something that said it has to do with some kind of copyright protection that comes from the Telus box. This attachment keeps that signal from coming through (technically it removes pin 13 from the HDMI connection). Whatever it does, it solved our issue.
Cool. On which cable and which end do you attach it?
There’s a diagram on the Amazon page I think. It goes on the cable from the Telus box to the TV on the end that plugs into the TV
