Power adapter issue on Telus TV Box
I have a couple of Telus TV Android boxes. One of them stopped working, just won't turn on. After googling I found the issue was likely the power cable. I tested it by swapping it for the power ada...
Nothing wrong with the box, it is the power supply. If you put a multimeter on it it will read 11.5~ and not 12V and does not produce enough amps.
Yes have Telus send you another power cord and/or order one from amazon for $15. The amazon one has not failed since January when I reported this.
Let us know which one arrives first.
Can you share the amazon one you found to work?
I have 3 of the boxes and the first one now has this issue. I suspect the other 2 will also develop this issue over time.

I thought I had already posted the link. I went to get it from past order and it is not available at the moment. Meanwhile I posted another thread where it appears Telus discovered the problem too and is sending out new power cables, which it appears are identical to the ones that fail.
