Telus TV mini - such a downgrade
Had our 3 old Telus Optik boxes replaced with the minis. What a downgrade: The feed often freezes or just goes blank, particularly when pausing live TV Periodic notifications that the remote has "disconnected" and the whole system becomes non-responsive Severe lag when using the skip forward or backward feature - just feels unstable Cannot extend recordings beyond the pre-determined time (make recording sporting events almost useless) Any suggestions for work arounds - or can we just request that our old (but functional) boxes get returned?
Telus TV+ App login error
For the last few days when I try to login to the Telus TV+ app on my phone I get a "Login failed. Sorry an error occurred. Please try again later. ERR AGL". I uninstalled/reinstalled the app, cleared the app's cache, restarted my phone but the error continues. Is this a known app issue that is being looked at?Telus TV
I have deleted and re-installed the Telus TV+ app on my devices (Apple) to view channels that I am subscribed to. I would like to watch local (BC) channels like CHEK however the app says the channel is not connected to a Telus home network. Internet connection is through Telus. All network related equipment is Telus. I have made sure I have the most recent version of the Telus TV+ app. I cannot figure out why the app doesn't permit view of local channels? I'm experiencing an issue with my Telus TV+ channel guide. The filter and sort settings keep reverting to “All channels,” even though I had selected “My favourite channels.” While the TV is on, the guide correctly shows “My favourite channels” after I select it. However, after turning the TV off and then back on later, the guide has reset to show “All channels.” I’ve restarted both of my digital boxes, but that didn’t resolve the issue. This has been happening for several days. Is this an issue for anyone else?
Profile Settings Not Holding
Anyone having issues with profiles not holding when selected on TELUSTV-21T Android Optik TV+ I have a Main profile and one additional. When I turn off box or it goes to sleep and was last viewing on Main it defaults to the second profile when reactivated. It used to hold the last viewed profile. Now in order to get it to accept Main you have to select the other profile then go back to Home and toggle to Settings then reselect Main which is a pain.Fire tv Stick HD
Tried the fire stick 4k but doesn't work because its a in house operating system what I found out , can't side load so bought the new fire stick hd wifi 6 , thought what I've read I get Telus TV Plus but I was wrong again because Telus doesn't show up on app store , I get City TV , Bell fibre optic but no Telus . Can someone help or is there another stick other then Amazon I can get for my older tv
