Poor Routings to game servers
I’ve been a long time customer at Telus for about 6 to 7 years and possibly experienced 3 or 4 outages since but every time I play Valorant or apex legends the routings to those games are horrendous sometimes I won’t even send the required packets for the server to give me enough updates and it’s not even just Valorant I used a software on my computer called pingplotter which measures packet loss and hops in your network routing and to Apex Valorant Marvel rivals CoD and so many other games but CSGO my graph was green and i was lagging if you want test the same thing download ping plotter set your trace interval to 1 and Focus time to 5 and ping 192.207.0.1 and let me know how your graph looks

There have been a number of similar reports we've had from customers through the years. Your best bet may be to reach out to the dev team for those games specifically for further troubleshooting.

I think that’s your guys job not mine to fix your routings to a lot of games for “Best Low Latency Internet Provider”

You would need to do a trace route to see where along the journey the issue is. You'll see a lot of the time it could be it's going through a bottleneck that Telus doesnt even own. Especially with US based servers. If you own fancy networking gear you can setup your own VPN or tailscale or a few other places and just setup a hosting account for a relay somewhere closer to them. But thats all advanced networking things most people wouldnt feel is worth the investment as it still might not fix everything.
