Porting from a Telus customer to a new telus customer
Hi,
I am currently with Rogers, but thinking of signing up with Telus. My partner is currently with Telus but wants to stop her plan. I'd like her phone number and she has no issues with me having it. If I sign up with Telus, can I port her number to my Telus plan me before she stops her services?
What's the best way to do this. I don't want her plan as the new plan I'd be able to get is much better. I just want her phone number.

The best way to do this is to make sure your Telus account is already active with at least one number on it. Before your partner cancels. Have her come with you to a Telus store and transfer the line to your account. She needs to authorize this and to make sure her account gets closed, if that is what she wants to do.
