Does Telus Have Sales in OCT on devices?
So my bring it back plan ends with Rogers at the end of Oct, and i made the switch to telus due to a great deal, but there is an overlap in services. so i'll ride out my Rogers till end of Oct and pay for a month of telus, still saves me a tonne. I missed out on the Sept bring it back when the S24 Ultra was $25, now it's $60!! Rogers usually has deals around Thanksgiving... was wondering if Telus does anything around that time? i guess my only other option is to use some CRAPPY phones till Black Friday.877Views0likes1CommentRe: Telus Home Security products with Google Home
That's a bummer... I Agree with the lack of ability to speak to a rep online. Sometimes i dont have time to wait for an hour to talk to someone only to get someone overseas that reads off a script and not get the answer you want. At Rogers I was able to talk to anyone online, the only dept i would need to call was Retentions. Also agree with ur "world-leading technology" statement, cause the fact I cannot find an answer on if these Telus products work with Google Home is a joke. Im SOOOO glad I opted out of the garage door opener and replace the one I had and decided to install a Nest Thermostat instead of the Alarm.com one cause now i can control the thermostat with Google Home.1.4KViews0likes0CommentsTelus Home Security products with Google Home
Why is it SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard to find an answer to this question?? I just moved over from Rogers, and for the last week ive been trying to find the answer to this as the Sales Rep said I could. I want to control my front door lock with my Google Assistant. I've been on hold waiting for someone for 1.5 hrs only to get "i dont know, i need to transfer you" and even after getting to a level 2 tech support person I got "i don't know, i have to check" and waiting for another 20mins they came back with "I'm not sure, your going to have to contact google support". Im so glad i didnt opt in for the garage door opener, cause i already had one, and i can still control that with google home, which is a product off amazon for $30. like what?? If it doesnt work, it doesnt work, but i can't even get that answer. And if it doesn't work I don't know why Telus is trying to be like APPLE and control their entire ecosystem. I opted to install a NEST thermostat because the Installer said it was better, which i dont regret cause at least the integration into the Telus Home Security was simple, and at least i can control my thermostat with google home.Solved3.3KViews0likes2Comments
