Re: T3200M Modem IP Address Different than Public IP Address
My router, under WAN Connection Status, indicates my modem IP address is 100.XXX.XXX.XXX. The website you provided and the normal 'what's my IP?' search, and the DNS reporting from my connected IP cameras suggest my public IP address is 209.XXX.XXX.XXX. I'm no IT expert but that's the first time I've seen this.7.8KViews0likes4CommentsT3200M Modem IP Address Different than Public IP Address
Telus just updated my DSL modem to the T3200M. Having difficulty port forwarding and noticed that my new modems IP address is different than my public IP address (via What's My IP or Dynamic DNS Service). I always thought the modem IP address was the same as the public IP. To what address do I route to connect to an device behind the router?? Can you successfully port forward with the T3200M?Solved7.9KViews0likes6CommentsRe: Merge Telus Webmail Powered by Google into Existing Gmail Account?
Good suggestion, I just set up the forwarding in the new gmail account and it does push to my old gmail account. I just doesn't tag them as being pulled from another POP3 account, no big deal. Thanks for the suggestion!6.7KViews0likes0CommentsMerge Telus Webmail Powered by Google into Existing Gmail Account?
I have an existing Gmail account (primary) and have a Telus email account (secondary) that I have managed together using the merge POP3 feature to pull the Telus emails into my main Gmail inbox. Post Google merger, Telus informs that you need to log into the new Google Telus account and any existing Gmail account separately and flip between them. I couldn't get the POP3 import to work with the new Google powered email. There has to be a means to merge these without having two instances of Gmail working. Any ideas??Solved6.8KViews0likes5Comments
