D2D alarm system checks?

someone has been going door to door in my neighbourhood (H3Y) claiming to be a TELUS rep whoneeds to check out the home security system inside the home, even in homes that don't have TELUS systems. We all assume this is not legit and have reported this to our local city security; just wanted to flag this.
