Did you mean:

Samsung and Roku

I am new to telus, I never really wanted the TV package, but was talked into it. The Wifi is good, so no complaints - but there is no Telus App for Samsung or Roku / This was not part of the sales pitch . . . .

I see many posts about the same thing,
What to do now??

What are you trying to do? Presumeably you got a Optik TV digital box with your TV package. It should be able to do everything you need.

Just a long time customer hoping to help.

I also have a Telus TV package and have declined their Optik Hardware, as I exclusively use wireless streaming devices for ease of relocation and to avoid installing MOCA devices and running coax everywhere I may want to have a TV. Hence, my two Roku TVs are essentially useless for TelusTV. I would imagine that there are DRM issues or some sort of financial implications to Telus that makes them avoid the Roku (and other) Platforms, as it is super easy to create a Roku App.
So my suggestion for Roku/Samsung users would be to buy a Chromecast with Google TV device and not wait for Telus to step up. If they don't have a Roku app yet, it is obviously not a priority. They probably wouldn't even have a Google TV App either if it wasn't just a port of the Android phone App. 😛
