Recording US Open Tennis

Hello,

 

How do I make sure I am recording every minute of the US 2024 Open Tennis, regardless of channel it is playing on. TSN is playing it on 3 channels twice a day (early round and Prime Time). I seem to be able to record only one or the other on one channel. Also, the Series recording options are different on the TV+ App and the set top box…

Are you able to manually record each channel simultaneously?


Well, stepping through the guide channel by channel and pressing “record” each time I see a listing is about as painful a process as I can imagine. I’m looking for a way to do this automatically. Isn’t that what “Series recordings” are meant to do?

To record every minute of the US Open Tennis in 2024 across multiple channels, follow these steps:

Set Up Series Recording:

  • TV+ App:
    1. Open the TV+ App.
    2. Search for the US Open Tennis or TSN channels broadcasting it.
    3. Look for the "Record Series" option. Set it to record all instances of the event, including all airings and channels.
    4. If possible, customize the recording settings to capture all episodes and prevent conflicts with other recordings.
  • Set-Top Box:
    1. Navigate to the channel guide or recordings menu.
    2. Find the US Open Tennis broadcast times.
    3. Set the series recording for the event, ensuring to include all channels and times it airs.
    4. If your set-top box allows, adjust the settings to record every airing and handle overlaps automatically.

Hello,

 

Can you tell me where I can find this "All channels" setting in either the app or the set top box? As far as I can tell, the channel is fixed on the one selected to start the series recording. Also, on the app there is only the choices for the time are "Anytime, once per day" (the event occurs twice per day), "Any day around h:hh" (the time shifts depending on the day), and "Any day any time once per day" (Again, it occurs twice). 

Events like this need "Any channel, Any day, Any time, Any duration" as an option. If this exists, please tell me where.
