New slimline2 remote programming

Hi

just installed a new Telus 4K per with the slimline 2 remote.

Did the programming as suggested and it seem to work fine doing that but having trouble getting it to turn on and off my TV at the same time? How do I get it to turn the tv on/off at the same time?
