Legacy account

Hi I'm currently a legacy account holder and Telus is doing their best to try and make me give this account up and change to a newer more expensive plan. To have all the channels I have now I would have to add many more bundles just to get what I have now. Now they are not telling me I have to change ,but they are causing problems with my  bill { I have a 2 year plan] and telling me that I wont be able to get discounts any more if I don't change . They are just trying to piss me off enough that I will give up and they can make more profit .

Is anyone else in a similar problem?

Generally speaking, discount codes are meant to be temporary lasting a defined timeline (2 years is the longest a discount code is good for). There are also instances where discount codes (especially older ones we don't offer any more) are deactivated as they're not compatible with modern plans. If your legacy account is many years old, it could just be that there are no discount codes compatible with it so the price of your current plan now and moving forward.
