I'm trying to setup an online account and when it gets to the verification page it wants to call or text me on a number that's been out of service for at least 5 years.
It's the number I had when I first started dealing with telus and I took it with me when I went to Shaw.
Years ago when I went back to dealing with Telus I got a new number which they're charging me for every month, but I guess they don't know what it is.
Since I can't verify, I can't create an account.
Phoning the support number tells me they only handle time sensitive matters and use online services or the app.
The app appears to only be for Telus mobile customers. (which I'm not)
What's the solution?
