Telus hub in basement and wifi is too weak on 2nd floor.

I have an old wired hub on my 2nd floor to hook up my xbox, should I attach an antenna to it?

Some options....

• make sure your router is at maximum power?
• are you using wireless N for maximum results?
• better antennas?
• directional antennas (I heard some tried to put their modem/router in a steel mixing bowl to defect the sound upwards)
• repeaters/extenders?
• PowerLine extenders?

Beware of power line extenders. They have a tendency to be problematic for anything gaming related.
