Hello,
I am wondering why my cellular device (iPhone 15 with iOS 18.1.1) is showing me my cellular gateway IP address is located in England? I have no VPN running, and am not connected to WiFi, either. Solely running on Telus Mobility data. I’ve included a screen shot below for clarification.
I am concerned about the safety and reliability of my network — and this isn’t really making me feel at ease. Can anyone shine light on this? A quick IP search reveals this IP has nothing to do with Telus.

Since the screenshot you posted isn't appearing yet (awaiting mod approval), what is the public IP that you're getting? IP blocks get transferred and geolocation databases can take months to update that a new provider has it in a new location.

Now that the IP is visible, it's very odd. The IP is associated with the UK Ministry of Defense. Even ARIN's database confirms it. I can't think of a way that you could get that IP as a public IP for your connection. Where did you take the screenshot? Was that local to your phone or a website? What public IP do you see if you go to https://www.whatismyip.com/ ?
