Well it looks like the agency we love to hate has jumped into the fray, and caused the removal of Telus Extend from our use. The CRTC has demanded that e-911 services be available on Telus Extend, so the App and support has been deprecated effective Dec 30, 2016. Looks like other carriers' implementations of this feature have been cancelled as well.
I know what I'd like to say to the CRTC, but doubt they'd listen.....
