Switching to old device with balance still on new device

This may be a stupid question but not 100% on this. Smiley Frustrated

I got a Samsung Galaxy S8 last year (2017) & it is now currently crapping out on me exactly 1 year later. I still have a 400 some dollar balance left on it. Can I just put my SIM card back into my old iPhone 6 and just let the balance on the S8 run out? Or will I get charged the remaining balance since I would be switching devices?

Until you purchase a new device, you will continue to pay the portion of the device balance monthly. There would be no change simply for switching SIM to your iPhone.

Your Samsung may still be under the 1 year manufacturer’s warranty, or a hidden warranty if just past the 1 year mark.
