Roaming on Rogers

Rogers customers are set up to roam freely on Bell and probably Telus towers when there is an absence of a Rogers signal (Rogers "EXT"). I believe that the feds mandated that some time ago. However, am I as a Telus customer able to roam freely on a Rogers tower in the absence of a Bell or Telus signal?

Yes. However there are few locations where Rogers coverage is present, but Telus/Bell are not, so you would see it infrequently.

Unfortunately it doesn't take into account signal strength.  I live in South Surrey (near 24 Ave & 152 St.) and to coverage often is unusable. I'd love it if it would flip to Rogers under those circumstances.

Have you tried using Wi-Fi calling when at home? It will help when within range of your home Wi-Fi.

Been using that for years. But it doesn’t help once you walk out the door. The whole area has terrible coverage.
