Page 17 of the user manual states to plug the USB cable from the phone into the computer.

There is usually two ways to see your phone data. Installing some bloatware management program from the maker. Having the files on the phone show up as a external drive that is easy to view and copy over to your computer.
If you only need the USB driver(Windows compatability and for if Windows does not auto install a compatible driver), it is on this page of downloads under software updates. The driver hopefull can be installed as a stand-alone to avoid install of the lg mobile support tool(if you don't want auto-running bloat)
