Certain apps sense that I am not in the correct province

Ever since joining Telus a few months ago I have been having trouble with certain apps and websites not accurately getting my location (Toronto, Ontario). Some apps have no problem seeing exactly where I am when I am on mobile network while others sense that I am in Quebec and load in french. When I am at home and connected to my home network it all works fine so I do not think its an issue with my phone (iphone 15 pro max), although I have tried resetting all of my location settings to fix the problem. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

It's likely related to how the apps determine your location. Your phone has settings for which apps can access your location (GPS). On the iPhone these settings are under General>Privacy & Security>Location Services. If the app is not allowed to use that information it will try to determine your location based on the server you are using to access the network. This information may be considerably different than your actual location.

Just a long time customer hoping to help.
