I recently upgraded to a 5G+ plan and have the latest S24.
I was wonderting if Telus had deployed 5G SA in Toronto by utilizing an app (Network Cell Info) on Google Play.
It has alot of information on the connection (signal strength, band, SNR, Quality, etc) as well as if you are connected via NSA or SA network.
Using this app, I saw no network tower utilizing 5G SA driving from 427/Evans to Steeles/Hwy 27. (and thats a 20 minute drive !)
Looking at cellmapper on the net, it reports Telus has SA towers near 427/Evans. The reading I got indicates otherwise. It shows up as a NSA connection.
Does anyone know for certainty if Telus has deployed SA in Toronto ANYWHERE ? Can you confirm using your phone and a screenshot that it is truely a 5G SA tower ?
