Voicemail troubleshooting is one key thing missing from Telus' website. Seems quite odd for a frequently used feature.
On another post here with the same question, one of the Administrators replied with:

Unfortunately you will need to call directly into 1-866-558-2273 or contact us via Twitter to have the password reset. You can not reset or change the password from the device if you do not remember it.
The one other way, if you are post-paid (monthly) and can access your account online, log in to your account. Select Plans & Add-Ons. The left column should have Reset your Voice Mail password about 2/3 down.
