I've got a Telus mobility subscription, and I'm thinking of purchasing a Nokia 800 Tough.
Would that device work on the Telus network in Canada? The specs are the following:
Mobile/Cellular Data: 4G/LTE
Networks:
LTE: 800/850/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
UMTS: 850/900/2100 MHz
Data: GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, LTE

No it won't work. The Nokia 800 is for the European and Asian markets which use different frequencies.
For 3G, it would need to support both 850MHz and 1900MHz.
For LTE, it would need to support both 1700MHz & 2100MHz (AWS) or in some rural areas one of the four 700MHz variants.
