Very confusing...Will this device be able to obtain LTE signals on the Telus Network? (Toronto)

Quad Band GSM; LTE: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 20;

UMTS: Band I (2100), Band II (1900), Band IV (1700/2100), Band V (850)

Hi all, I am very interested in buying a phone with these specs however I am unsure if its compatible with Telus.  How does one decipher which bands you require for an unlocked phone to work with a carrier?  Is it just 1 band or do they all the bands need to be the same?

please help, Wikipedia was extremely confusing lol

Telus supports the following:

3G (and fake 4G)
HSDPA 850/1900
HSPA+ 850/1900
UMTS 850/1900
WCDMA 850/1900
1x EV-DO CDMA2000

4G (called 4G+)
LTE 1700/2100

GSM will not work with Telus but that won't be an issue. The phone specs you posted should allow 3G to work. LTE might work but no guarantee. (LTE Band 4)

GSM (B2/B3/B8)TD-SCDMA (B34/B39)、WCDMA (B1/B2/B5/B8)TDD-LTE (B38/B39/B40/B41: 2555-2655MHz) FDD-LTE (B1/B3/B7)

i want to buy a unlocked phone for travelling. It is a redmi note 2.

Will a phone with this specification works in the Telus network too?

Thanks.

@Kel1 it will work on their HSPA network, but not LTE.
