Samsung Galaxy s3 not receiving texts from another s3 on a different network

Hello,

my phone is no longer receiving texts fromanother s3 on a different network - koodo. my phone is able to send to my friend's phone and she receives them but i can't receive any from her. we both are perfectly able to text with others, and we were able to text four days ago, but now are unable.

any ideas on how to fix this, or what may be going on?

That's a tough question to answer. If you are able to send/receive from everyone but her, then it might be an issue on the network. One thing I might suggest would be to delete the thread you have between the two of you (on both phones) and then re-test. 

If that doesn't work, you may want to call their technical support so that they can check the message server and see if anything is getting stuck.

One possible idea... restarting the phone?  Is the battery is removeable? Try taking the battery out for a few minutes before reinsertion.

Hi friend, if you can make and receive calls and can send and receive text messages with everyone else, 2 things. First, was the other person using an Iphone device before? In your messages, check the text messages from this person and press your menu option and make sure that this person's number is not block. Are you using Google Hangouts, if so disable the SMS feature.
