I got an iPhone 16 on a Nov 23 with EPP plan and service. On Black friday Bring-It-Back plan was lowered, so I applied for the Price Match Guarantee. It was declined with no reason given .I already submitted the form on the black friday and yesterday was declined with no reason. I meet all eligibility criteria and filled in the form properly. I chatted with a customer support rep who was very attentive and who communicated with the team that does price matching (I was told there is no way for me to contact them directly.) i directly got an email with declined request.This is completely unfair ! The price was lower on that day I requested the match and is still the lower price today on telus.com.
Any suggestions on how I can reach the team that does the price match requests? I am very upset that the price match team is being dishonest and if I end up having to return the phone and buy it again, I will just go with Bell or Rogers since they are offering an identical deal.

We were ontime to sent request, store were given this promotion for price match when we bought on that day. And now telus are refusing.As a customer service with telus my experience is very badlly , they informed us instore something and online people are something different which is not match their words with them.

I received an email today saying the exact same thing - that “my account does not meet the criteria” for the price match and it does not explain why other than to say I can call in to TELUS for further clarification regarding the policy.
I went back and read the webpage re the price match and I don’t understand why I don’t qualify. I applied under EPP, I got my phone on the 23 by calling into TELUS and I inquired about whether prices would drop further on Black Friday and I was specifically told that if they did dropped within 30 days that I could send in a price match. So when they dropped on Black Friday I sent in a price match on the 30th. I’m not matching a competitor or something, it’s the same phone, it’s within 30 days, it’s an EPP account. I don’t understand what doesn’t qualify. I’ve already spent 15+ hours on the phone with TELUS over the past two months dealing with several issues and don’t want to have to call again with something they could have put in the email. Instead they have taken almost 6 weeks to get back to me which has left me unable to get out of the trial period and stuck in a contract with a company that I am extremely frustrated with after the numerous issues I’ve dealt with over the last several weeks. This isn’t the first time I’ve been told one price and then it changes. I was with Roger’s for 4 years and never once had an issue or had to call them!! But I decided to switch to save a few extra bucks as our home services are either TELUS. I was told the discount would be $20/mth, but then I read it was only $15 based on my plan. When it didn’t appear on my bill I again had to call in but I was told it would only be $10/mth not $15. You get tired of fighting and arguing and spending hours on the phone so I gave up. I won’t give up on this price match though because it’s not right!!
