I understand and the provider must rely on the manufacturer for specific updates like this one, delays can be part of the game, maybe the manufacturer found an issue with the first version of the update and decided to get it fix. I'm sure TELUS will receive the update before March and let's hope that it will be worth it.

Now that was a useful reply with 10x more insight than the textbook reply from support above yours. Once again, as in the case of Telus phone support, the internet has more useful information than the support employees. Phone support gave me the generic, yes Android rolls out updates in batches and some customers have it now, keep checking. No they don't and Motorola released it in January so if should have been available already. Useless generic info again, what a shame. No wonder I'm upset after nearly every phone call with support because their information is so often false or uninformative. Loyalty recently told me I had a blackberry and wanted an iPhone even though I had an S3 at the time and wanted an Android upgrade. There is a major lack of human logic or attention in Telus support.
Thank you for information that is actually insightful.

Hey guys I'm just wondering, I just got the Moto G from Telus and I am on 4.3, do you need a SIM card inserted to get the update once it's out?
