Bring it back and Canada post strike!!!

I was due to send back my old cellphone in November on the bring it back program. But Canada post was on strike so I couldn’t. They told me just wait until the strike was over and then send my device in. Now they’re saying they’ll charge me for the device balance or send it back if I send it in. What should I do?! This is ridiculous!!!

I believe there's a lack of communication with their clients. I'm in a similar situation, and no one seems interested in addressing or resolving the issue

In response to the Canada Post labour disruption, we had asked customers to hold on to their devices until after the disruption or return the devices to a participating TELUS store.

If your device was due to be returned just before the labour disruption took place, you're still in a good position as we generally give a total of 90 days to action the return.
