I switched my cell phone and home internet service to Telus about two weeks ago. And couple days ago, I want to switch them back to my original service provider. I have successfully switched my mobility service back, but now i am stucking at cancelling my home internet service.
I have received the modem and router from Telus, but because I did not cancel my previous home internet from another company, Telus home internet was never activated, so I do not have an account number associated with the Telus home internet service. Now I have tried to call Telus customer service to cancel and return the equipment, but the customer service agent would need the account number.
So right now I do not know how to return the home internet equipment, and I am not sure whether I should tell Telus to cancel my home internet service since it is never activated.
