I live in a condo and have had pure fibre installed all the way up to my unit door. They've even drilled a hole through the top, over my front door from the hallway into my unit in preparation for the final install inside my unit. A few units have had pure fibre installed. When I go online to check availability, I get a message that it's not available in my area. I've phoned customer service a few times and they've said Telus is waiting for permission from strata management to do the work or we'll put you on the list or they should be doing the work in 2 to 3 weeks which was approx. 3 months ago. When I talk to the strata president they say some units have had it installed and what I was told by Telus wasn't true. I'm having so many issues with my internet service and I'm so frustrated with the lack of knowledge and confusion with Telus customer support. I don't know who else to contact to get answers.

Find out one of the units that has Telus fibre in it. If the rep has that info, they should be able to verify that fibre is active and get the availability updated on their end. May take a little time depending on the team that updates or provisions things on the back end of their system, but it should be possible. I did that when I was trying to get a fibre run in my building to one unit after dozens were already active. Took a week or so if I remember correctly.
